| Teckentrup fire protection doors – new items at BAU
Securely stylish A two-leaf all-glass door for maximum transparency and flush-closing doors with hidden hinges are the aesthetically pleasing new fire protection products that Teckentrup presented for the first time at BAU. The design requirements of doors are also increasing in the area of fire protection. For this reason, the door and gate manufacturer Teckentrup (Verl) is developing new design variants and is remodeling existing door types – all without restricting functionality in any way. Transparent fire protection The “Teckentrup GL” T30 door has been tested in accordance with EN 1634-1 and is an all-glass element that has been created to suit the design requirements of property architecture. A two-leaf variant (new for the trade fair) enables the user to close up even very wide doorways. The frameless construction and the subtle stainless steel fittings make the door look particularly sophisticated. The smoke protection that is fitted as standard is achieved due to a low-wearing, lowerable bottom seal in the glass pane. The one-leaf design also insulates against sound (sound insulation up to 34 dB). Puristic architecture: flush-closing doors. The new flush-closing “Teckentrup 62 ST“ fire protection doors enable a level, harmonious surface between the door leaf and frame, meaning that installation takes place flush against the wall. The classic lines with the surrounding shadow gap between the door leaf and the frame blend ideally into the puristic architecture. With hidden hinges and an integrated door closer (both optional), the only visual indication of the door is the handle. There are hardly any limits to the surface design, the palette ranges from the RAL of your choice right up to wooden décor. As well as that, there is a wide selection of glazing options. The doors are equipped with 3D hinges as standard to enable easy installation. The new flush-closing doors expand upon the 62 mm series. As is the case for the 62er series, the one or two-leafed elements can be equipped with additional features such as smoke or break-in protection as well as sound insulation. EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certificates are available for the elements; this is also the case for the entire product range.
