| Teckentrup innovations at BAU: Product innovations, simplified assembly, more configuration options Innovative in several ways Installation simplified, technology improved, configuration scope extended: Teckentrup (Verl) demonstrated innovations on several levels at BAU. The trade fair innovations include garage door drives, a new wicket door model for sectional doors and very large roller shutters as well as a new, particularly heat-insulating exterior door. At BAU, Teckentrup exhibited innovations for both the private developer and for commercial use. In the garage door segment, the manufacturer presented the new generation of its drive family with the models CarTeck 12.2, 20.2 and 40.2. The models are designed with varying degrees of strength so that the optimum performance can always be achieved, from the simple standard door to the large door for double garages. Teckentrup is relying on a particularly burglar-proof technology for this: A “rolling code” is being employed in the remote control. This means that a new code is being assigned to each individual control – similar to the safety standard used in online banking. The cable and spring packages pre-assembled at the factory are convenient for the processors: They save them from having to carry out some of the assembly steps, thereby excluding sources of error in advance. The installation will be faster and safer. The comprehensive accessories program – for example with the colored renovation casings – provides an ideal solution for every building situation. Industrial doors – insulating and configuring For a long time now, industrial doors have no longer had to look dull and gray. For roller shutters, the entire RAL range is now even available in a powder-coated finish. As a result, highly resistant, abrasion-proof “ThermoTeck” doors can also be delivered very quickly in small numbers. There is also more configuration scope for glazed elements on the sectional doors. A new procedure now makes it possible to make an impression in the transparent surface. This enables you to apply a logo on the glazing, smoothly integrating the door into the overall hall configuration. The new sectional wicket door with integrated finger pinch protection complements this: It is particularly elegant and has a very low threshold. The manufacturer also consistently transfers their knowledge to other product segments. Two examples: The wicket door is now also available for the CarTeck garage doors. Finish coated property doors in all RAL colors can be delivered to the construction site pre-assembled; even wood decor coatings are on offer here. For folding doors, Teckentrup presented a newly developed 180 degree opening, whereby the door leaf swings open fully and enables complete clear passage. The extremely wide double roller shutter design with moveable center support proved to be a magnet for visitors. This solution for XXL passages is already being used in the logistics sector, for example, with a maximum width of up to 36 meters. Doors, multifunctional Thermal insulation UD = 0.83W/m²K – Teckentrup offers its new exterior door “dw 62-1 Teckentrup iso+” with this extremely low insulation value. With this high thermal insulation, the door is not only suitable for inner apartment entrances, but also for access via walkways, for example. This component shows its strength in its other features: Sound-insulating and burglar-proof equipment are optional supplements. Teckentrup also proves itself as a door specialist with property doors, which must provide break-in protection and escape route security at the same time: For this, the engineers have developed single-leaf anti-panic doors with a resistance class of up to RC 4. As full-panic doors, the two-leaf elements reach class RC 3. The approval for fire protection at greater heights shows multifunction of a different kind. Fire protection is hence now also guaranteed with non-continuous floors – more options for technology and supply lines, high-bay warehouses, silos, etc. There could, for example, be gratings on one side and standard flooring on the other side.
